Southern Colorado Black & Pink

Who We Are:

We are a local chapter of a national prison abolitionist organization dedicated to abolishing the criminal punishment system and liberating LGBTQIA2S+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS who are affected by that system through advocacy, support, and organizing.

What We Do:

We provide direct support to our incarcerated friends across Colorado through pen pal matching, group letter writing, birthday and holiday card writing, and more!

How You Can Help:

As a local chapter, we are 100% volunteer run and operated and so we always welcome more volunteers to join in and help out. If you would like to find ways to get involved, click the 'get involved' link above. Or feel free to email/message us directly and we can help you get started! If you have not already, check out the wonderful site made by Black + Pink National that provides more details on the organization and how to get started becoming a pen pal to a friend inside.
